Here is the first of my May Flowers with a few variations below. I will be posting a drawing of a flower each day this month, so please check back throughout May for more flowers!

April showers bring May flowers. Starting tomorrow, I will be posting a drawing of a flower each day in May. This project will consist mostly of small, quick drawings and is meant to encourage me to draw and post regularly, something that I have been neglecting recently. It’s also meant to celebrate spring and the beautiful inspiring flowers that are blooming more and more each day.

I’m so proud of all my students who participated in GLSEN’s Day of Silence today by taking the vow of silence in order to raise awareness about the silencing effects bullying and harassment have on LGBTQ+ youth. I made this poster for my classroom to help encourage us all to keep working towards a world where members of the LGBTQ+ community don’t feel silenced anymore.
