Geekadelphia just posted about HOOT (the literary magazine on postcard). They included an image of the postcard I designed for HOOT’s May issue- check out the post!
And, while going back in time to subscribe to HOOT is worthy of the Tardis (as Geekadelphia implies), you can just get all of their back issues here (their Etsy shop) and subscribe in time to receive July’s issue in the mail! Save the Tardis for something else- like witnessing Socrates drinking his hemlock, meeting Sitting Bull, or jumping to the future to find out what the Singularity is all about.
My family’s old pointer hound dog was named Jupiter! The incidence of the barking dog, with overtones of the telescope, summer day, and the God Jupiter, is really fun.
Glad you like the poem! You can get more info about the poet, Ann Malaspina, here (http://www.hootreview.com/printissue8/).
Amazing! you line is like.
