Giraffe Baby Shower Invitation
Remember my giraffe from early December? I created it as part of the process of designing a baby shower invitation for my sister. Here is the final design:

Gift Tags!
To go along with the holiday cards, Amira also made gift tags from my artwork! They are around the size of business cards. They come with small envelopes, but could also be hole punched in the corner and attached to a gift with ribbon. I’m so lucky to have such a thoughtful sister! Thanks, Amira!
There are only 2 days left of the holiday card giveaway! To enter, go over to the original post and comment.
Holiday Giveaway!

Amira’s done it again! This time she made holiday cards from my drawings, which seem like the perfect item to give away for December. So, one lucky winner will win 6 holiday cards (2 of each pictured in this post) with envelopes in time to send out for the holidays!
The cards are approximately 5 X 7″.
The rules are the same as always. To enter, please comment on this blog post before 4:00 PM (EST) on December 8th. Each person who comments will be counted only once. This time I will be accepting international entries!!
I will use Random.org’s Integer Generator to pick a winner who will be contacted by email the evening of the 8th. If you are the winner, please respond to the email with your mailing address within 48 hours or another winner will be picked!
GOOD LUCK!!
New Drawing
I know I haven’t posted for a while, but I’m hoping to rectify that in coming weeks. It’s been busy starting a new job (middle/ high school Latin teacher), but I’m getting used to the new schedule. The hardest part is getting up early every morning since I really am a night person- the night is when I’m most creative and when I complete the majority of my drawings.
This drawing was originally on a card, like so many of my other drawings (see here and here)- hope you like it!!
New Drawing
I finally finished the drawing from my last post as a birthday card for my sister. Hope you like it!
pop-ups and anniversaries
Today we’re celebrating my parents’ 32nd wedding anniversary- I didn’t make them a card this year, but I thought I’d share some old ones..
I made this pop-up card for their 24th. It was pretty much my first and last stab at paper cutting, which I’d love to do more of, but would need the proper tools and a whole set of skills I don’t yet have.
This next card may have been an anniversary card or for something else- all i know is that it was for my parents, so I guess it fits with this post..
Also mildly related- we’re having a party at our house this evening and we used my postcards as invitations.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!!
